How a search works

A shopper searches road trip snacks the search polign Matching words the exact words used at the same time Similar meaning things that mean the same two lists One ranked list the two lists merged Store rules pin, boost, or hide stored here Your own cloud storage products · prices · stock what the shopper sees
Polign runs two searches at the same time: one for the words the shopper typed, and one for what those words mean. That second search is why “road trip snacks” can turn up granola bars and trail mix, which never use those words. The two lists are merged into a single ranking, the store’s own rules can pin or hide items, and nothing leaves storage the retailer owns.
